AMAÇ: Cep telefonlarının yaymış olduğu dalgalarla
oluşan düşük seviyeli elektromanyetik radyasyon
(LLER) etkileri, termal kamera görüntüleri ile
incelemektir.
YÖNTEMLER: Bu çalışma 2012 yılında 10 sıçan
üzerinde Bezmialem Vakıf Üniversitesi Tıp
Fakültesi Hayvan Araştırma Merkezi'nde
gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sıçanların termal kamera görüntüleri LLER'den önce ve sonra alındı. Kontrol
grubu, LLER uygulamasından önce alınan termal
görüntülerden oluşmaktadır. Termal görüntüler
prosedürden önce ve 45 dakika boyunca uygulama
sırasında her 5 dakikada bir çekim yapılarak alındı.
Sıralı eşleştirilmiş değişkenler (Ordinal paired
variables), termal görüntüler için Wilcoxon testi ve
uygulama öncesi ve sonrası gruplar şeklinde
karşılaştırıldı.
BACKGROUND: We aimed to evaluated the LowLevel Electromagnetic Radiation (LLER) effects
generated by waves emitted by mobile phones,
thermal camera images on brain.
METHODS: This study was conducted in Bezmialem
Vakif University Medical Faculty Animal Research
Center on 10 rats in 2012. Rat thermal camera
images were taken before and after LLER. The
control group consisted thermal images taken
before LLER administration. Thermal images were
taken before the procedure and every 5 minutes
during the application of 45 minutes. Ordinal
paired variables, Wilcoxon test for groups before
and after treatment were compared.
RESULTS: When the thermal image results were
examined, the hottest region of the hairy deep was
localized to the nose and the median was 93⁰F
before application. The coolest region of the rat
head was the brain localization (Median 88⁰F).
When the results are examined, it is shown that the
temperature increases by 5, 4 and 0⁰F in these
regions median when the gore is compared before
the process. Ten rats, according to Wilcoxon
analysis results, there was a statistically significant
difference in brain localization between
pretreatment and posttreatment values of rats (p =
0.004).
DISCUSSION: When the results were examined, it
was observed that the temperature of brain regions
of rats increased by 5⁰F after treatment compared
to the pretreatment level. According to Wilcoxon analysis results, rat brain and head temperature
increased statistically significantly before and after
administration.
CONCLUSION: It has been shown that harmful
effects may occur in the brain even with a single
and long mobile phone interview.
